TESTS AND RESULTS

Following up the results of any investigations is your responsibility. Please make sure that you either call reception or make a follow-up appointment (if recommended by your GP) to get the results of your blood tests, x-rays, scans or other tests arranged by the surgery.

You will not necessarily be contacted about abnormal results so make sure that you have checked the outcome of tests.

Please leave three working days before telephoning for blood test results and then call 12-2pm. X-rays can take up to two weeks.

If you are calling on behalf of a patient (other than a parent on behalf of their child) please ensure the patient has issued prior written consent as we are unable to give out results to anyone other than the patient who has had the test.
